I am thinking about what type of person makes it in this sport. Just for the record, I am defining "Makes it" as:
A person that is healthier and more vital as a result of training and competing with Kettlebells as the chief tool used in training... Also mentally they look forward to training and improving their own results and the results of the people they teach. They are goal orientated, but also understand that results come from becoming a smarter lifter, continuously focussing on improving mechanics and movement quality, by studying, practicing and applying better and better Technique. To them the weight and numbers come after movement quality.... They appreciate the daily struggle, the ups and downs, and are in this for the long haul.. They are grateful for small improvements and remain positive during setbacks... These people are the real heros of this sport, they have jobs and kids and work stress, but they find time to train no matter what. If you are sensitive, do not ask them what they think, because they will tell you and it won't be sugar coated.. they do not have time for the "tickle tickle" approach... These are the people I love seeing at these events...
tickle tickle.
